In its laboratory as well as in its clinic, Bi-Op relies on a team of experts led by a prosthetist-orthotist who left his mark on both the Hôpital du Sacré-Cœur de Montréal (HSCM) and the Marie-Enfant Rehabilitation CHU Sainte-Justine (CRME). This well of experience gives Bi-Op its strong capability to handle a diverse patient base, particularly in the production of orthoses and prostheses for children. As a primary player in the public domain and the health network, Bi-Op also provides all types of prostheses and orthopedic products to rehabilitation centres for the physically handicapped.

The proximity of Bi-Op’s clinic to its laboratory provides the team with a continuous source of knowledge that benefits both facilities. Patients’ comments are incorporated into the production procedures and patients can reap the benefits from having instant repairs, adjustments and maintenance made at the adjacent laboratory.

Over the years, Bi-Op has forged strategic alliances with well known suppliers such as the German manufacturer Otto Bock. Through this supplier, Bi-Op furnishes the renowned C-Leg, the first knee articulation system completely controlled by a microprocessor.

Bi-Op is strongly committed to remaining the leading Quebec based compagny in the design and manufacture of orthoses. Bi-Op is also the sole distributor of the Bioness brand in the Laurentian and Lanaudière regions, which includes the NESS L300 Foot Drop System.
