| The outcome of
an advanced technological design, the Pediatech line ensures biomechancial
control that is as active as your children.
Available in three colours, two with youthful designs, the Pediatech
orthosis is endowed with a polynyolene shell that is sufficiently
flexible and thin to provide room for the foot to grow but is also
sturdy enough to correct the positioning and walk of the child.
Furthermore, this same shell acts on the antagonist muscles’
proprioceptors to permanently ensure the corrective actions anticipated.
Displaying strong resistance to stress during impact or during prolonged
exposure to corrosive materials such as water and sand, the Pediatech
fulfills its role of protecting the plantar surface. In light of
the growing popularity for activities that are extremely demanding
on the feet, such as skateboarding or mountain biking, Pediatech
offers a reassuring solution.
By promoting the realignment of the foot and its
components, the Pediatech orthosis enhances the foot’s mechanical
advancement and directly addresses the problems most likely to worsen
and be detrimental to the child’s development. On this basis,
a very deep cup is favoured to allow maximum control of the anterior
and posterior tarsus while the various biomechanical corrective
postings support the growth of developing joints.
By paying special attention to the age and growth curve of the child,
we apply a growth factor in each case. In addition, for children
under the age of 13 whose growth is more rapid, Bi-Op offers a
free replacement policy that covers an 18-month period following
purchase.
The general appearance
of the orthosis may vary with the patient’s body structure,
the additions you may require and the use of top covers, if applicable. |
