For example, we can define the angle best suited for cutting plantar orthoses to control the mechanics of movement, or thin down the shell at various key points to enhance flexibility. On the prosthetic front, we use accurate components that are actually an improvement over nature, and meticulously study the symmetrical relationship with other body limbs as well as the impact on other parts of the body.
