| Designed for the
diabetic patient, Diatech provides optimal pressure distribution.
Above all, its design relies on the search for a balance in distribution
and reduction of pressure points, an essential prerequisite for
the effective treatment of a diabetic orthosis.
Constructed from 2 to 3 mm polynyolene, Diatech
meets the epidermal requirements of the foot and enhances recovery
circulation to sustain appropriate body heat. For the promotion
of healing and injury prevention, the Diatech orthosis comes with
a foam top cover which contains microcells that absorb shock upon
contact with the ground.
Other top covers are available and can be used
for diabetic cases that have stabilized or are milder.
Combining the recognized shock absorption power of the Bi-Op orthoses
to a light to moderate adjustable control, the Diatech device takes
great care of insensitive feet.
Delivered full-length, the Diatech orthosis is
the perfect reference tool for the purchase of new shoes. Customized
molding reflects the essential spacing needed for the effective
control of diabetic feet.
The
general appearance of the orthosis may vary with the patient’s
body structure, the additions you may require and the use of top
covers, if applicable.
